Hi, I’m Carrie.
I write fantasy stories about fierce women going on epic quests and forging unlikely friendships…with usually some forbidden magic thrown in. If you like fast-paced and fun fantasy books, then we’ll get along just fine.
Mountain of Stars, the first book in my Secret Thief Trilogy, was a finalist in the 2026 and 2025 Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association Contest. It was also long listed for Uncharted Mag’s novel excerpt contest.
Much of my work is inspired by my home in the Pacific Northwest, as well as my time spent living as an expat. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me wandering through the forest with my family, chasing new adventures (usually with pen and notepad tucked in my pocket).
